Description of advertising types

Top Page Ad

Your advertisement will be displayed at the very top of the page. A top page ad is a standard full size banner ad which is 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels high. Your ad will be displayed randomly based on the percentage of ads you would like displayed per month and the total pages served on SouthSanJose.com.

Example: Let's say SouthSanJose.com displayed 30,000 pages per month, you purchased 5,000 top page ads and you wanted to display 1,000 ads per month; your ad should display at the top of every 1 in 30 pages SouthSanJose.com serves for the next 5 months.

Featured Business / Home Page Ad

Your advertisement will be displayed on the SouthSanJose.com home page. Your ad will be seen when visitors first come to SouthSanJose.com. A standard home page ad will be about 160 pixels wide and 60 pixels high. Your ad will be displayed randomly based on the percentage of ads you would like displayed per month and the number of times the SouthSanJose.com home page is displayed.

If you would like to ensure your ad is seen every time a visitor comes to the SouthSanJose.com home page, we suggest that you have at least 3,500 home page ads display each month.

Advertising information applicable to all ad types

If SouthSanJose.com is not supplied with the graphic ad to be displayed, we can create the ad for you. We will waive the cost to create the ad if the total order amount is $50 or greater.

When visitors click on your ad, we will transfer them to the web page of your choice. If your business doesn't have a web page, we will create a basic web page for you on SouthSanJose.com with all of your contact information.
