Thank you from The Banuelos Family
God has blessed Kim, Jessica and me in some many different ways during the loss of our precious son Joey. We have seen God's work all around us and we wanted to let everyone know that we have felt and will continue to receive your prayers as we travel down a very difficult road as a family. Each of your prayers and love for us has been extremely overwhelming and greatly appreciated. We want to thank you for all the prayers and encouragement during this time of need. We appreciate all the love and support that we have, and continue to received from our Family, Friends and Neighbors.
With all of our love,
Bobby, Kim and Jessica

Last night [September 13th, 2000], Donna and I were contacted by a neighbor on our street about a prayer meeting going on that evening for a 3 year old boy. Below is an excerpt from that email message. Nearly 70 people were believed to have attended the prayer gathering. [SAS]

Prayer for Joey Banuelos At the request of Bobby and Kim, we'll be gathering tonight outside of the Banuelos' home this Wednesday evening at 6.00pm to pray for Joey.
Most of you know 3 year old Joey, who fell into his pool Monday evening. Joey's condition has been critical- but nothing is impossible for God. God has taken him this far, and we're believing He'll take him all the way to full recovery! Joey's vital signs are good, he's doing his own breathing, and his eyes are responding to light. These are major improvements considering the severity of his status when rescued.
Below is a flyer being distributed soliciting donations to help Joey's family.
Kim and Bobby's Family appreciate everyone's love and support in the recovery of their son, Joey. Many people have said, "If there is anything I can do, let me know." As Kim and Bobby's family, we want them to be able to be 100% focused on Joey's recovery, which means they are at Joey's side and are unable to work. We have set up a trust fund for them so that it will help relieve the financial burden. If you would like to make a contribution, you can make checks payable to:
