MEDIA ADVISORY:
WHAT: | Residential Burglaries |
WHERE: | South San Jose |
WHEN: | Between March 14th and April 7th, 1999 |
WHO: | Unknown suspect(s) |
An active "cat" burglar has been burglarizing homes in the South San Jose area. The suspect(s) generally strikes between midnight and 5:00 a.m. when the victims are sleeping.
The suspect(s) breaks into vehicles parked at the victim's residence and then gains entry into the garage via a side door. Once inside, the suspect gains entry to the house via the interior garage door, the suspect(s) steals small items such as purses, cell phones, laptop computers etc.
