Groundbreaking Ceremony of Fire Station Twenty-Seven May 28, 1999

The City of San Jose and the Redevelopment Agency welcomed the community to the groundbreaking ceremony of fire station twenty-seven today at 11:00. The ceremony took place on the corner of Bernal Road and Via Serena across from the new Bernal Plaza shopping center. The fire station will look like the fire station recently built in Almaden. It will replace the fire station that is currently in a converted home on Bernal Road near Santa Teresa Golf Course. I took some pictures for those who couldn't make it.
