Subj: Hit and Run Accident
From: [email protected] (Wayland Quon)

Hi Scott and Donna,
I want to post the following in the crime section of your web site. My goal is to provide police or insurance company with info to catch the hit and run driver of an accident involving my parents.

My parents were heading southbound on Hwy 85 nearing the Cottle exit on 1/11/01 at approx 9:15pm when a hit and run driver slammed into the rear of their red 93 Honda Civic Coupe. When my parents realized that were just hit severely, they were struck again from the rear which caused their vehicle to spin out and slip off the road.

There is not much information on the hit and run driver, but someone in the area might have saw something and thought someone else would inform the police. The only info police received was it was an older model sedan, possibly green in color. It was last seen fleeing down Cottle Road.

If anyone saw anything, I would encourage them to contact the CHP office on Junction Ave. I don't have the CHP report number on me, but they may email me if they like at [email protected].

It is one thing to hit and run but to hit my parents twice and force them off the road is another. Criminals need to be brought to justice especially in our neighborhood. Otherwise, justice will never be served and people will not help to report lawbreakers.

Thanks for your time,
Wayland
