Subj: Re: coyote valley development should begin South San Jose has some of the lowest home values in the area. Do a little research and compare prices to the surrounding communities. Which one is lower than South San Jose? Maybe East Side of San Jose? The City of San Jose is 80% residential. Prop 13 killed residents as source of taxes. The end result is a low tax base that barely supports itself. The City of San Jose desperately needs more business and commerical development. The Coyote Valley will help create a strong San Jose. It will also help pay for new streets, trees, parks, and better neighborhoods. How much tax do empty lots bring in? How many more years will the Coyote Valley sit empty as a lost opportunity? |
