Subj: Re: Plaza de Santa Teresa From: [email protected] Hi Scott and Donna, Thanks for your great coverage of the Lucky's/Plaza de Santa Teresa situation. Our community is greatly concerned over this issue and it's great to be able to check in here for the latest. I am attaching the latest flyers which went out today. A last-ditch effort to rescue the center is underway; believe it or not, we may be just beginning to dislodge all the roadblocks and really accomplish something here. Lucky's assured me today that they will revisit the issue of closing the Plaza de Santa Teresa store; or at least, if the closing proceeds, that doesn't mean that they won't still reconsider the issue. Reopening with great fanfare amid a major clean up and update for the center was suggested ... let's just say that they haven't ruled out the possibility. At this time, major phone calls to Lucky's (510) 678-4200, Mr. Don Keperta, Vice President, and to Mayor Ron Gonzalez, 277-4237 can be of great help to us in pursuing saving our center.
Thanks again, Elizabeth Cord |
