Subj: Neighborhood Playgrounds From: [email protected] (Ronald Horii) I took a look at the Cottle Road neighborhood today. I saw a couple more places that might be good for playgrounds. One is on Curie, east of Woosley, a couple blocks west of Cottle. There's an area of open space that is relatively flat near the bottom, enough for a small tot lot. Another spot is near the end of Cottle. There's a small, almost flat area near the Coyote-Alamitos canal. These areas are both part of Century Oaks Park, so they are already designated as parkland by the city of San Jose. They could be connected by a trail going over the hills. Go down Curie and take a look at all the open land between the houses and the canal. You might spot some other good spots. Ron Horii |
