I can also vouch for Joe at JoCal Electric. Because of the recommendation here, I called him in for a bid to add overhead lights in 5 rooms in our house, and rewire the light switches to control the overhead lights instead of the outlets.

I called two other electricians as well. JoCal was significantly cheaper than the other two (the second lowest was about 1/3 higher). I decided to go with JoCal. I called him on a Friday to give the OK. He was able to start the following Tuesday (4 days later).

Joe showed up right on time, and was very professional. He did exactly what we asked, and did a great job. He was very curteous and finished everything on schedule. I'll definitely be calling him again if I need any other electrical work done.

BTW, by strange coincidence, both his name and mine are BOTH Joe Martinez!
