Subj: Floor Coverings From: [email protected] Hi - When we bought our home we had new carpets installed. What should have been considered a home improvement has turned into a home casualty. Within 6 months after the install the carpet started to come up. There are bubbles and rolls where the carpet has loosened. I've had the company come out to inspect the damage and hopefully have them do the needed repairs. They'll do the repairs alright, for 60 bucks an hour. It just didn't seem right to have to pay 'again' the company that did the lousy job in the first place. The company everyone should do their best to avoid is 'Benassi's Carpet SVC'. I consider him dis-honest and basically a crook. I've opened a case with the BBB against Brian Benassi, but it doesn't appear much will come of it. Actually it would probably cost more to persue it than to just get the repairs completed. Knowing I have turned him into the BBB and have warned fellow neighbors might be my only justice. If anyone knows of a good carpet guy please get in touch with me and maybe I can get the repairs done before the holidays, thx. Dan |
