Subj: Neighborhood Robberies From: [email protected] (nutgrower) Yesterday, Saturday 9/9/00, a young man rang my door bell and asked "Does Bob Shockley live here?" I don't know anybody by that name and I told him so. He said "thanks" or "I'm sorry" (I'm not sure which) and after a quick glance behind me into my living room, he turned and left. Today, Sunday, in scanning the news on SouthSanJose.com, I see in the crime section where the police said back in May of this year to be on the lookout for someone who asks for someone who does not live there. Maybe this guy is checking out our neighboorhood (San Anselmo/DuSault). I wish I had read the crime section sooner so that I might have known to follow up on this person. He was white, young, in his early to mid twenties, with brown hair and a medium build. I'll pass this information on to the police. Let's hope he was just in the wrong neighborhood. |
