On January 19th, we put our bills in our mailbox to be picked up by the mailman. To make a long story short, someone stole them out of our mailbox, "washed" the checks, and cashed them. We've had to close our account and cancel two credit cards. Needless to say, you may want to think twice about putting your bill payments in your mailbox.
