Subj: La Colina Park Survey This park could be an asset to our neighborhood if it is improved and maintained regularly. I am leery of basketball courts, as they attract an element of teenagers and gang members. We would be bettter served by the addition of tennis courts since they attract families and older people and could then be available for lessons(through the Parks Dept.?). As you drive around our neighborhood it is evident that the residents take pride in our homes and landscaping. We deserve a park that reflects that attitude. La Colina has been allowed to be an open space eyesore. Please consider the demographics of the neighborhood when making your final decisions. |
