Here is an update on the group home on Culvert Dr. The group home will be a home for women with substance abuse issues. Basically there is nothing we can do to stop it from coming to our neighborhood as long as there are less than 6 people living in the home. The owner receives $950 per person. Quite a nice profit. We are having a community meeting at Oak Ridge School on Wed. Feb 9 at 7pm. Would appreciate it if you could help spread the word. All are welcomed. The district attorney and the group home project manager will be attending the meeting. This is our chance to show our displeasure in having this type of facility in our neighborhood.
