Subj: Mountian Lion Spotted Blossom& Curie on the Aqueduct around 8:30 AM 08-08-08
From: [email protected] (Steve Paski)

I was running on the aqueduct this morning around 8:30 AM and a very small mountain lion scurried across the aqueduct and went up the other side and stopped right at the top of the concrete. He watched me go by and was absolutely not afraid of me. I picked a small stone and gently tossed it, hitting it in the back, and it didn't budge, just looked at me. i proceeded with obvious caution to my turnaround point, and headed back. It was on the Curie side again, and when it saw scurried down into the aqueduct but stayed at the bottom and looked at me. I made myself as big as I could, yelled at it made a lot of noise and it just looked at me.
Clearly it had no fear of me at all.
it was not a Bobcat, the tail was very long. it was very small, about medium dog size.
