We had two contractors give estimates for work on our 73 year-old house, and chose Joe Martinez from JoCal Electric to do the work (408.978.2480). The job was extensive - ground all outlets, add outlets throughout the house and guest cottage, replace the panel, and bring much of the electrical up to code. Joe does exacting work. He hasn't done the work as quickly as we expected, but he's taken the time to be sure that we're happy with what he's done. He's consulted us along the way when something we've asked for hasn't been clear, he's trustworthy, and we think his prices are fair (I wouldn't say cheap, but very fair). I am definitely planning on using him again.
