I am in need of a good landscaper. I need sod laid down in my back yard, and then general gardening maintanence. I need someone affordable (I am a renter), and trustworthy.

I DON'T want someone who will hire any day labor person off the street. I am more concerned with the safety of the person. I don't want just anyone showing up to do the work as I have three small children. I have noticed from the warnings that come home from school about potential child abductors that most of them fit the profile of these undocumented gardening workers. I think they are hired and brought into the neighborhood by homeowners who are willing to hire anyone for the cheapest price. I am more concerned with safety. Can anyone refer a good reputable company who does background checks on their employees?
